Monarch Cottage is a beautiful, new modern West Indies cottage in Estate Fish Bay, on the southern shores of St. John. The Caribbean Sea is your front yard and seen from every room. A 7-minute drive to Cruz Bay and 30-minute ride to Coral Bay, Monarch offers a seaside experience for family and friends.
Breezes from the Caribbean caress you as you lounge by the private pool or spa or when sitting on your private beach just 20 feet from the water. Fish Bay often enjoys the visits of nurse sharks and beautiful turtles.
The great room provides AC, smart TV, Sonos sound system and comfortable seating after a day at the beach. Large sliding patio doors open to an Epi deck and the lap pool/spa area. WiFi is available in every room.
The kitchen is equipped with all the amenities needed for your stay…Ice machine that produces 32 pounds of ice a day for those island drinks. All the accessories required for a simple meal or an elegant party. Gas stove/oven and dishwasher make food prep easy when you want to dine in.
Outside the kitchen is a screened-in dining area with a propane grill, ample counter space and views of the Caribbean.
Three bedrooms, ensuite, offer AC, smart TV and views of the Caribbean along with swaying palm trees and, often, iguanas and geckos. Close the blackout blinds or open the windows and enjoy the breezes that come off Fish Bay. Two bedrooms offer king beds and one bedroom offers twin beds/king. Ceiling fans in all rooms allow for the gentle feel of tropical comfort when lounging inside.
Beach chairs, a paddle board, coolers, lots of beach towels and washer/dryer are available for your use.
A generator onsite allows for electricity, no matter the weather.
Whether you lounge on the patio under the pergola or in the great room with large fans gently turning, the Caribbean breezes can flow through the house with the sliding glass doors open.
The Kitchen is equipped with all the amenities needed for your stay. From elegant cocktail time needs to a lovely home cooked meal in the dining area or in the screened porch, you have everything possible to make your stay memorable. Of course, the very important ice machine that produces 32 pounds of ice a day for those island drinks is always ready for you.
Gas stove/oven and dishwasher make food prep easy…when you want to dine in.
