Today we completed Monarch Cottage. Ready for our first guests. In a few months the plants will mature. Sand will fill the beach.

Thank you for such a wonderful stay! The house was absolutely delightful, luxurious and comfortable, and thoughtfully stocked with everything we could possibly need and more. The kitchen was especially impressive, wonderfully equipped for cooking and relaxing meals at home. We truly enjoyed the peaceful atmosphere, especially the beautiful views of the bay and the pool. It was such a relaxing location to unwind and take in the scenery. One of our favorite little surprises was the visiting iguana, who was always a fan to watch whenever we could spot him! Thank you again for sharing your beautiful house with us. We had an amazing time and gladly return!

We had a small intimate wedding her in St. John, what a wonderful setting it was on Oppenheimer Beach at sunset. Our son & his new wife and parents all stayed here at the lovely Monarch Cottage! We’ve rented quite a few beach houses and Monarch is the best by far! Michelle and Jackie from Vacation Vistas made us feel right at home. And what a spectacular home it is! The gorgeous home to spend our special occasion. The house has everything you could possible want, in the kitchen so well stocked (with dishes etc.) the bedrooms, beach bags and beach chairs & floats. We used them all. The views, the relaxing atmosphere. We thank you for an unforgettable stay at Monarch Cottage. Many thanks.

Monarch Cottage was a delight! We loved meals on the porch and coffee by the deck. The pool and spa were our absolute favorite parts. Such a relaxing and comfortable way to enjoy St. John! We will miss the iguana and pelicans that visited the yard each day!

Staying at Monarch Cottage truly felt like finding our own little piece of paradise. From the golden sunsets to the peaceful evenings, every detail made our time on St. John unforgettable. 20 Years ago, we honeymooned on St. John. This week we celebrated that milestone with our two kids and one set of parents. Thank you for a wonderful memory-packed week. It was so relaxing to start many of our mornings already enjoying the eaters and breezes of St. John from the comfort of our villa without the need to race to the beaches to start enjoying the island! The villa was so thoughtfully designed, decorated and supplied! We found everything we needed in the kitchen and loved the added touch of the beach bags. We will definitely tell our friends about Monarch Cottage and would love to return ourselves!

I often need to pinch myself to know that this is real and not a dream. My dreams can’t match the beauty and majesty that is this special place on earth. It is a blessing to share with our daughters who may one day live on this island because of the people, the light and the joy that they experience. This is our 8th vacation here and I can’t think of a better place that can even come close to all that we experienced in and around this island. I hope and pray that all who pass through Monarch Cottage are touched by God’s grace and take a moment to give thanks giving. Thank you very much to our special owners and hosts. This home is great!

Our family has been coming to St. John for over 60 years. Thank you Cheryl & Dave for providing a dream experience! Granddaughter saw for the first time St. John is magical: Manta rays, Parrot fish, chameleons, Donkeys – what more! Monarch offers an experience in pampered care & beauty – Herbs for pork roast, just like the old days at Miss Lucy’s. I spent an hour looking at the Palm tree while the kids dove for pieces of eight in the pool!
